that there is no CD player.
Unless of course it has been installed.
Which, in our case, it hasn't.
So, it's raining cats and dogs...and we're riding in the truck, and I decide to pull out my tapes :D
Of course it was a Brian Adams tape :P
You know, I have never ever ever never ever in my life at any point loved this singer. His voice abrades my ear drums.
Okay.
It used to.
But this brings me to my say,
Shakespeare, Brian Adams, and I all have one thing in common.
:D
The same opinions....for the most part...
See. Have you not noticed?
The meaning of "I love you" has definitely changed over the past few decades.
Shakespeare would go to the ends of the world to express the elocution of those three words. To him, love was eternal.
Brian Adams....well....go listen to his songs. You'll see what I mean. He's pretty much the modern Shakespeare.
And then there's me who pretty much disagrees with the world's terms these days.
Today:
boy meets girl.
"i love you"
two weeks later
"i hate you"
and it's over.
The End.
No more No less. Much more then that, they're only like, 12.
It's like nobody knows the true meaning of the word anymore.
It's everywhere.
Families.
Friends.
Every kind of relationship.
What will it take for people to realize Shakespeare had it goin' on when he said,
"Love is not love, which alters when it alteration finds."
