IB UPDATE

I AM DONE IB FOREVER.
WAHOO.
GREATEST FEELING EVER.


I will find out my IB English/History/French exam results in July. Until then, I am as free as a bird.
It's great.
I've actually had time to experiment in the kitchen. Cooking is such a pleasure!
And I'm working on my music, putting my whole heart into it.

I just love free time!

Now, to finish two units of Writing 12 in two weeks. :$ Haven't been doing this paper-based course that I picked up at the beginning of the year. Mad rushing; all that IB prep will come in handy. ;)

AND, I got accepted into YWAM. I will be travelling to New Zealand this summer....if the funds come in. The way I take it, is if God really wants me to do this and it's meant to be, the money will come in no big deal. If this isn't meant to be just yet, then I'll work for the rest of the year, save money, take a math 12 course (I didn't take math this year), and possibly a fun course like a semester of Make-up School or Photography at a local uni. :) Should be fun, whatever happens. I'm not too worried about it.

Man.


Just so grateful that I've finished the International Baccalaureate program as a Certificate. Hopefully I passed :D

Left that program quite interestingly. I've really been able to pinpoint a lot of my strengths and weaknesses. It gave me good things and bad, but overall, I wouldn't have met some of my closest buddies and been so spiritually enlightened. Not that IB was enlightening. More so, that it directed me into such a thinking pattern by which I was forced to engage more with God rather than take on everything with my own brain. I doubted a lot of what I had experienced in the past and questioned so much, analyzing what I had believed. Then, I sort of had a revelation, and I believe so much more than I ever have before, in a different kind of way. Hard to explain, but I just wanted to share that.

Reading About So Many Wars, May In Fact Start A War in My Head. So Much Memorizing To Do.

Ode to studying like a beeeast. 

As if textbooks weren't enough, I went to the library and found myself The Atlantic and Its Enemies: A History of the Cold War by Norman Stone, as well as The 1900s: Headlines in History.

Quite helpful, but they do little for entertainment. 

Must. Finish. History. Homework.

TOK is actually influencing me?!?!

I am listening to Imogen Heap! Alas, I have found an indie techno band that of which I looooove. :)

One more thing to note: I got a journal a few weeks ago (Eco friendly, of course: made of sugarcane!!) which has remained blank for quite a while (aside from two of my favorite songs; ones that I have written) ..... But I've finally figured out what it will be used as.

No so much of a journal...
But a keepsake of memories, thoughts, and perceptions.

Pretty much my brains romantic thoughts on life. Looking at the deeper meanings of things and such.

Finally finished my (2) EXAMS :)

Don't know if I did okay. Probably managed a B on both exams. We'll see what happens. :)
I'm just glad I have nothing else to do! :D

I'm working on signing up for rowing or whatevs....but I have a bunch of things to figure out before hand. Like if I'm busy or not (I'm involved in a lot this year...so...we'll see how it goes).

I should've made one of my New Years Resolutions to be: "Jazzy, you cannot eat anything with sugar in it." It seems that over the holidays, I have consumed a crazy amount of chocolate. Bad Jazzy, Bad.

Ima go back to chillin with my tunes. Holla! (Wish me luch with this project.)

I went to the library yesterday....and borrowed 4 books on the Russian Revolution. For better understanding on this October/November 1917 coup thinger.

It kind of helped.
But I still don't understand the Kerensky Affair as much as I'd like to.
So...if there is a genius online, please do explain.

I also got this random book at the library...under Young Adult Fiction....but at this time I forget what it's called.
I got Wuthering Heights too.
But I have to finish Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince first :)

Ima Make This Quick

because I'm supposed to be working on my History project right now...but I felt like writing.

This month I'm planning on workin out crazy (mainly cause I don't have P.E. this year) to get back into shape for the sake of feeling energized, and to just get into the habit of exercising on my own all the time, plus I'd like to be in a well state by the time we go to Disneyland!! :) For privacy's sake, I won't speak of when I'm going, but it is this month! I'm so stoked!!! :) Road trip with the fam and my aunt and uncle down to L.A. then to venture throughout the cities of magic! :) I'm pretty stoked. :D

Ughhh.....I'd like to start painting again, seeing as though because of IB workload's I haven't been doing so......I'll probably get a brainwave when I'm down in Cali....which should also help out with my song-writing. **crossed fingers**

Third Memo: I'm trying to finish the Harry Potter series before November 19th....but I'm only 1/3rd of the way through book 4! Ahhhh SO hard. At least it's a comfort to know that The Deathly Hallows is being split in half...so when all else fails I'll for sure be able to watch the premier Summer 2011 of Part II. :p :) haha
