About Me

Perhaps I'll sail around the world; go on a pilgrimage. I'd like to see what's out there, what I am missing. Maybe ink up, open a tea shop, and publish my music. But a goal's just a wish without plans.

:) Hi There.

Isn't summer great?
Hopefully the sun decides to actually stay out for all of August.
I'd say we definitely deserve it.
I mean...last year we were hittin it up at 30-40C! Yet, this whole entire month, July's just been handing us the most random weather. We even went to our favourite vacation spot, and the water was freezing cold! People were jumping into the lake in wet suits. -.- Not right.
I managed to wear shorts, but not half as much as I should have.
July should have given us a little more heat.
Crossing my fingers in hopes that my birthday will deliver us some sweet heat.

In other news, I have been sketching! :) Really enjoying my pencils, this time of year. I drew a Jedi Starfighter 05, and a Stormtrooper. Slightly flawed, and a little too penciled out, but I guess that's what you get when you use a 2B Pencil. :)

I've been practicing my piano! Though, I can't get my printer to work...and I'm supposed to be working on Sonata No.5 or something...... :3 Hopefully it prints out soon!!

Music wise, I'm still listening to a lot of pop, electro, DJ mixes, n stuff.

Movie wise, I am officially all caught up on the Harry Potter movies, and am absolutely convinced that books were +100% waaaaay better.
Don't get me wrong, the director didn't do too bad of a job, but it felt like so much was missing.
I still need to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, though.

Can't wait to see Agapanthus. Definitely miss you sooo much! Hope you're having the time of your life in Greece.
I want to go with you next year! :)

Aspirations.

I love that feeling that twists my heart up into that throbbing emotion of love. I love it when I can sit down on my favourite piece of furniture ~my piano stool~ and let my fingers roll along the ivories and flats. I love the feeling of a pedal beneath my painted toes.

Today I managed to sit down...and just play. I didn't go over my scales (though I definitely need to!!), and I didn't practice Sonatina in C Major (The Third Movement), and I briefly went over my study...but, today I allowed my self to sing and play the three best songs I've written.

It felt fantastic.

All the words fell into place, and I managed to hit some notes I haven't hit before...but I sang like I meant it. Most of my songs are so abstract, and I know that if I ever perform them, I'll have to explain them...but today I sang them with so much meaning.
It felt so real.

For me, when I sing and play my upright....it's like I enter a whole new world. A world where scales and majors and minors echo beyond what they really are. It's like these notes float onto papers in Heaven....and I can imagine that I'm playing along with Heaven's choir.

What it comes down to, is that everything that feels so real to me....becomes my songs. I sing for the sake of the passion deep within me. I sing for what makes me live and breathe.

Today I finished writing one of my songs....I'm fooling around with the bridge...but I can for the most part pull some improv with some chords and make it work.

And then I felt like writing more--and I finally wrote another song. In record time, too!

It takes me a while to write songs...because I don't always write when I have the onus to do so.

But today was a very passionate day.

And I just thought I'd share that with you. :)

GAH! Snow DAY! :)

Much has been accomplished today.

1. I ACTUALLY CLEANED MY ROOM. My closet is organized...[erm..for the most part] Nothing is under my bed...[aside from a binder that won't be used until semester 2, and a bio text book i haven't used all semester]...and i vacuumed! :) I'm so happy.

2. I have managed to put my fingers to the test and nearly ace "Gavotte in G Major" "Play" and..well...I'm almost finished one page of "Grenade"...and I'm still trying to get my left hand to play E Major Triads properly. This is still good news for me. I got "Play" down in one week...usually it takes me at least 2-3 weeks.

That's pretty much it.
I probably should be working on my World Literature Paper, and that History project thingerr....
But who cares.

Now, while I wait for piano lessons, I am going to read Book One of "The Wheel of Time" series. [goal: to finish..meh...the next 2 chapters. I'm on chapter 2 right now. It's a really good book; definitely recommend it.]

Beyond the Silver Lining....

I feel quite inspired today. :)
I don't know why.
Maybe it's the combo of good music and popcorn. Maybe it's that I've got a song down pat for piano, and I'm quite stoked for lessons today....

Or maybe it's that HP Sauce said my hair looked like a spider web first thing this morning.... :D And I JUST looked in the mirror, and it TOTALLY does. :) It's cool. Quite cool. Oh I think this means I'm cooler than Empress P and HP Sauce by far :p hahaha

Anyways.
What I was gonna say is that.....
well. The sky is awfully nice at this hour. Beaming beyond the clouds...shining...creating a silver lining. It's pretty. :)

It's....hopeful.
I don't know how to explain this.
But it's a beautiful moment.

That's really all I have to say. There was more. But I've lost my train of thought now that I've gotten up to pour myself a glass of cranberry juice.

Typical really. :p

Oh dear.

^That link is hard core. Like. Beaucoup.

Thought I'd mention an epic fact that NASA and Athos will be enthused to hear: by tonight I will have finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It has by far been my absolute favourite!!!!

Memo: This week has been amazing. I've been able to get the drift of the songs I have to play on the piano...and it's surprisingly going very well. I got The Song of Twilight down in two days!!! :) Very excited.

Off to do my chores T_T

Ima Make This Quick

because I'm supposed to be working on my History project right now...but I felt like writing.

This month I'm planning on workin out crazy (mainly cause I don't have P.E. this year) to get back into shape for the sake of feeling energized, and to just get into the habit of exercising on my own all the time, plus I'd like to be in a well state by the time we go to Disneyland!! :) For privacy's sake, I won't speak of when I'm going, but it is this month! I'm so stoked!!! :) Road trip with the fam and my aunt and uncle down to L.A. then to venture throughout the cities of magic! :) I'm pretty stoked. :D

Ughhh.....I'd like to start painting again, seeing as though because of IB workload's I haven't been doing so......I'll probably get a brainwave when I'm down in Cali....which should also help out with my song-writing. **crossed fingers**

Memo to Self: I NEED TO PRACTICE PIANO!
grr.

Second Memo to Reader: Brainy B thinks I look like a toad with my grey beanie. Thank you very much B. :p

Third Memo: I'm trying to finish the Harry Potter series before November 19th....but I'm only 1/3rd of the way through book 4! Ahhhh SO hard. At least it's a comfort to know that The Deathly Hallows is being split in half...so when all else fails I'll for sure be able to watch the premier Summer 2011 of Part II. :p :) haha

Fourth Memo: For those of you who know how I write my date: "November __th 2010" <-- well with the two zeroes I always make a face. This month it shall have a moustache :D ForTheWin. :) lml ^.^ lml

Shots FIRED :P

hahahahah.

French class will never be the same again.

On another note where all readers may decipher and apprehend what I am saying: Essentially B, Empress P, and I had a wonderful time using a strength of potency towards people enhancing their views on baked goods so as to persuade them to buy cookies....The Crack sold out quite fast as we all had predicted. :) C-Train said we raised roughly $100.00 :) A good start for our Key (Geek) Club fundraiser. Our upcoming projects are the Write for Rights and the 30-Hour Famine. :)

On another note that is slightly off key....(because it involves such an odious topic).....I'm pretty sure Michael Jackson and Mr. Bwoink are purposely being intransigent. :P Never have I met such a teacher who profoundly devotes their life to demeaning ours. How ignominious! :) Meanwhile Essentially B, Crackers, and I have been amusing our lives with the incredibly bogus pictures of French people and THEIR lives. (I'm not speaking of the present French people....for that would be emotionally degrading towards even myself!! :P No. I am talking about King Louis XVI.)

Moreover, I have started to SING at my PIANO lessons. Oxymoron#1. Kind of exciting....yet slightly disconcerting seeing as though I've only just met this piano teacher two weeks ago.....and we're talking about a chick who's only sung for her parents and in front of the church (which may involve a lot of people, but it's not like you actually see them under the blinding lights :P). Bonus, my songs could possibly get produced...or at the least put on a CD seeing as he records music and such.
Exciting.

NASA and Athos: You will be happy to know I have finished Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and have now finished Chapter 1 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This series is incredibly enhancing! I love them :)
Regarding other books, in English class we have FINALLY finished All Quiet on the Western Front. Sadly endearing. I know. Oxymoron#2. But that's only because it was both intriguing in a way that wants you to keep reading, and despising in a way that wants you to put it down. I recommend it because it's SUCH an eye opener to the horrors of war...

Ending with a Yann Tiersen song:

Enjoy.
I am off to finish up some homework. AND STUDY FOR FRENCH. :P

Dear Me.

I've skipped a day.

:P

Shucks. Oh well. This will count for two days then.
I suppose it's time for me to introduce a new "Inspirational Quote" week =)
I've decided to go with music.....I don't remember who I was going to choose two days ago....I'm assuming it was probably some phony cartoon or what not...but I've really been inspired today. And, out of the utmost decorum, I shall be ending with Yann Tiersen links this week. Supposing you choose to dislike his creditable music, is just a weight upon your shoulders =) :P hehehe.....But, this music is of the engaging incentive....and I love it.

I aspire that you will enjoy it just as well.

As for my day.... =) I'm stoked because I've finally found time to paint my nails; however, this will happen after I practice a little bit of the link I will end with.

Today has been fanatical in that the pieces of music I've listened to have endeavoured to establish a sense of inspiration in my heart. I've been thinking intriguingly deep thoughts....as that is what inspiration does. I think it's also helped me in remembering big words I can use in my blog, that hopefully flow. =)

I've almost finished Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Just two more chapters to go! =) It's been a sensational adventure. :)

Well....this is where I leave you with a link of marvellous notes.

May you be fascinated!

Life Would Be Amazing If...

I had all the time in the world.
Today looks very familiar; i.e. tons of homework.

English: Chpt. 4 of All Quiet on the Western Front....+ Chpt. Questions and 3 Quotes.
History: 10 (might as well finish all 20 though because I'll eventually have to do them) Questions on an article written in 1917 with really big words. :P
Biology: REVIEWWWWWWW. :P hint. EWWWWWWW.
French: research some stuff on people who've used steroids. provide a good argument based on why it's OKAY TO USE STEROIDS. =O

Of course the chick who doesn't swear, hates drugs, doesn't tolerate drugs, gets stuck with the argument on why athletes SHOULD use steroids.
And how very repellent that it should be written in French.

In Def Leppard's voice we say:
For the GAGNE.

NOOOOT.

Hmm.
I sang for my piano teacher. Maaaaan. I'm glad that's over. I've pretty much presented quite a timid character so far....mainly cause I'm just overwhelmingly quiet; so he was surprised when I started singing......of course YOU (reader) do not know what I'm talking about because you've probably never heard me sing XD
Anyways, I'm just stoked because he's gonna teach me some new things I can do with the piano, in my chorus. =)

Here is where my boring blogpost ends because I must go:
z.) Run.
y.) Do my homework.
x.) Take the dog for a walk.
w.) Do my homework.
v.) Practice Piano.
u.) Eat. :P
t.) Read Harry Potter.....if my homework is finished.
s.) Pick out neon clothes to wear to school tomorrow. You know...this Spirit Week is unusual. I assumed that nobody would dress up as a nerd, because like...no one ever participates in these school things but freshmen...which is why I didn't wear my super awesome sport-nerd outfit (short bright yellow shorts, baggy T tucked in, 80s green headband, wool socks, bright red runners, and big glasses). Instead I show up, and a ton of people dressed up. :P
Typical that this should happen to yours truly.
So no matter what, I will be decked out in NEON tomorrow. ;)

Memo: I swear one of the hazelnuts from our tree....the ones that are drying in the corner of the room....well....one of them just jumped. No joke.... :P

Memo#2: After writing this post I went for a run! =) FINALLY getting back into shape, and it feels great =)

I need some sleep.
Surviving off 6 hours every night is a nightmare.

Adios Amigos. This is what my homework looks like:

Life With Homework Sucks.

So, I am rushing this blogpost so I can hurry up and do my homework, plus roughly skim over what I'm supposed to know for piano, and then run off to piano lessons, while cramming in vocal practice (because this teacher who i just met last week is making me sing one of my songs) and then I've gotta somehow find a pair of big thick black nerd glasses because tomorrow is nerd day. The horror of such uncalled for discrimination! Then I'll probably still have English questions to finish up (not to mention the rough MENTAL notes I WRITE down on paper), plus the French questions I absolutely do not understand, and the Bio junk that's supposed to be finished by Friday. I would also love to cram in some Harry Potter, because I've only gotten through one chapter. It's a very good book. :)

Now. Details.
French: Mr. Bwoink....made us listen to this YMCA-like song that's about skiing...all in French of course. But, it didn't quite work out the way he wanted to and he mouthed the words "seal" .....en Francais. =O

That right about sums up my day.

Oh, right. I'm an IB certificate kid which means all these quotes: http://www.ibquotes.com/top pretty much sum up my life...but not to such a harsh degree because I'm not doing diploma. :)
I've also been reduced to actually joining HIB because my brilliant friends Empress P, Brainy B, O-Man, C-Train, Gangsta P, Crackers etc are all in it...and I'm left being...lonerish...if I don't go. :) Like today. I just wandered the halls.
Not to mention everyone else I know was at Playland. :P hahaha yeah right :P pssht physics :P

Anyways. Enjoy the jokes that actually did make me laugh because i AM an IB kid. Lame-o. I know.

Memo: My brother said I don't need to dress up for nerd day :P
