About Me

My photo
Perhaps I'll sail around the world; go on a pilgrimage. I'd like to see what's out there, what I am missing. Maybe ink up, open a tea shop, and publish my music. But a goal's just a wish without plans.

Blogger's Challenge Day 24

"Today You are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You." ~Dr. Seuss

Man. I absolutely love this!
It gives me confidence. Kind of like "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
These kinds of quotes and verses, make me believe in myself. Like who I am today, what I believe...it's all just meant to be.
I'm the kid the preppies hate for no apparent reason....other than maybe it's because I'm always happy.

Jesus loves me, and has created me to be this person with this soul in this body for a specific reason...and I finally know the truth in the verse above. I'm happy. I know part of who I am....on my way to self-actualization....and....I guess being able to comprehend such a fragment...enthuses me.

Blogger's Challenge Day 22

:) There's probably a lot of things that my friends would say, that separates me from the norm of society. Hahaha....like....the fact I'm a total Star Wars Nerd. Or how I am sixteen and a half, and wear disney-shaped backpacks. Maybe it's how for my grad quote, I'll probably pull out something from Dr. Seuss or Yoda. Then again, there's the fact that any normal kid would have good come-backs to shoot across at their "great" friends ((HP Sauceeee)).

In a rather serious tone, though, I think that it's more like how my morals have grounded me into who I am today. I'm comfortable waiting for perfect moments. My life would be nothing with out God's blessing and the love I have for Jesus....the love Jesus has for me. I guess...what I'm trying to say, is that I will stand against what gets in my way, and I'll keep my morals straight. I'm confident, and like I said, comfortable, in being who I am: a chick who follows the rules. Not the rules depicted by this world, but by the rules I have made for myself......spiritual rules I guess.

I guess another thing that's important to me (though I don't know if this qualifies under this specific noted subject) is how I always want to imply a phrase: "Expose the frauds!!" in like...a lot of things I want to do. See...at the moment I want to be a journalist. I love to write. I love photography. I have questions. Good combo right? Unfortunately, sometimes I don't have a backbone. I want to. I think it would be easy if I adapted to having a backbone...like...soon. Anyway, that's beside the point. If I became a journalist, my catch-phrase would definitely be "To Expose the Frauds!!!"
I think it would be so cool to major in psychology, then go on to journalism; combine the two and you get a person who is capable of seeing the meaning behind certain actions and reactions, and able to ask probing, effective questions.

Just an idea.

Jazzy.

Wishlist

Moving past the Blogger's Challenge for this one post, I have decided to compose my recent wishlist.
It's made up of items that are hard to find and/or vintage. :)

Here it is. ;)

1. Brown Leather Messenger (Side-) Bag.
I stumbled across this:
http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/5R6QAW/ubersuper.com/in-persona-whats-in-your-bag

And thought to myself, Hmm...well...if someone were to take a picture of me, then of all the items in my bag, it would probably be a messenger bag filled with my art supplies, sketchbook, camera, song-writing book, reading book, and laptop.  I'm sure I could fit all of that in a messenger bag ;)

2. An Official Star Wars T-Shirt, like so:

http://shop.starwars.com/catalog/product.xml?topcatID=1300264;product_id=1315634
or this:

YEP. I'll add to it as we go... :)

Blogger's Challenge Day 20

Alright.
So...
This is the challenge I haven't been looking forward to.
Why?
Because to me, a letter is a personal note...it's like sharing a fragment of your heart with some one you can trust.
I do not trust the internet.
--Sidenote: The other day I watched Echelon...kind of like Eagle Eye, and whatdya know. Revalation. I had this brain wave...an epiphany if you will. You see, the world is ruled by a robot. Facebook. It totally controls our lives. Every month it seems to update itself: new sounds, new layouts, etc. And yet, it will not give us a "dislike" button. How many "likes" and pages have you found that all demand a "dislike" button from FB fans? Tons. Hundreds!! It's like Facebook is sitting there robot-laughing itself to death because it will update everything but will not give us a "dislike" button.--
Having said that...maybe this is my letter...

Dear Facebook,

I understand that you are here for the population's own sharing use. Over the past few years, I have gathered that you like to change layouts, refresh yourself. A change of pace is good. And maybe you only enjoy small changes....where tiny electric beings barely rearrange....but to us, we living persons don't comprehend the meaning of the manner. To us, these changes are gigantic. We've been forced to withstand these changes. It's called sacrifice. In a respective opinion, maybe you should sacrifice your pride, stop laughing, and give us all a "dislike" button.
We would like a "dislike" button as it is the universal sign for "Ew," "I did not need to hear that," "That was a pathetic decision," "Oh how unfortunate," and "TMI."

Formally sympathetically,
Jazzy.
