About Me

My photo
Perhaps I'll sail around the world; go on a pilgrimage. I'd like to see what's out there, what I am missing. Maybe ink up, open a tea shop, and publish my music. But a goal's just a wish without plans.

I Don't Think I Can Explain This Very Well

And I don't know if I want to. No.
Details will remain unsaid.

But, all in all I've found myself questioning too much. "Is this real, is that? Is anything?" Very ridiculous, but it's been pretty hard. I haven't written very much because I've been trying to get my head on straight. Over the past few weeks, I've even questioned my faith.....

I guess a lot of people do.
But I've never wanted to come to this stance-point.
It's a super different change... and I'm pretty sure Theory of Knowledge Class doesn't help. (Hence why I'm dropping it for 2011-2012).
I've feared so much in the past few weeks.
So....in rebel against all this, I've been reading a lot of scriptures from the Bible....all dealing with how the love of God is so powerful, protective, and amazing.

I hate TOK for making me question everything....and yes....it's made me question even this. But I'm pressing on. I really am.
And somehow, I just know that God's using this to strengthen me......and I'm pretty sure this is that part in life where I can choose to take the high road or the low road.

Yes, this is definitely one of those challenges where I have to put everything in God's hands.
It's hard.
It's that spiritual part of Christianity where everything relies on you allowing the Holy Spirit to move....allowing Jesus to take my life and rule 100% of it. Yeah, the Word backs up a lot of it.....(hope this is making sense to you, Reader), but so much of this has been spiritually supernatural for me.

But....I just know that in the end I'll make it out.
Sometimes my days are super cheery, and sometimes it's a battlefield in my mind where I have to put on the Armour of God (having realized how powerful it really is!) and charge at every thing that's so distracting.

But...I just know that this is a test I'll pass. I have to. I must.
I've been trying to read a lot of the Word to get focused and remind myself that I'm not the only one who's gone/going through this. It's working.

I just have to push past that disgusting spirit of fear a lot, and wake up realizing that God is real. We can't see Him, but He's alive. He is.

Man. It feels good to have finally let some of it out.

Memo: If you're feeling burdened, not joking, it helps to speak up. As much as you don't want to, it helps to get it over with.

Remembrance Day

11/11/11/2010.
Did you take part in the One Minute of Silence? I know it's not the eleventh yet, but I'm pretty sure we've all got the school day off tomorrow, and have had an assembly of honour for these patriots today.

This year, I've had a whole new take on Remembrance Day. In English we've read "All Quiet On The Western Front" and poems by Wilfred Own and Rupert Brooke....In History it's been a very deep focus on WWI....
And all in all....I am very thankful....so incredibly thankful....

These soldiers...young men...left their families and loved ones, in 1914, to fight....
They were ignorant of the horrors of war, to the murder of innocence they'd have to face, to all they'd be losing.
I am soo incredibly thankful for these soldiers who kept walking on, who kept fighting, who stood their ground to give us Freedom, Peace, and Integrity. Thanks to these soldiers...we are able to live, love, and hope.
If I could, I would name each and every one of you millions of soldiers who had to face the treacherous atrocity of war.

Thank you.

Watching more "I Am Second" videos.... This one is from Brian Welch....an ex-rockstar. VERY inspirational. Times a million.

"Contentment is given to you in life, because you don't have to look anywhere else. And you're exactly where you ned to be. And your question about life is answered."-Brian "Head" Welch (from KORN)

You need to watch the video. If you don't have the time, skim down to 6:58.....but I strongly encourage you to watch this. Really.

I'm off to piano lessons, then to a local play. :)

Pep Rallies...

obviously don't help OUR school much...I'd say our school lacked a certain amount of "pep" at the game today...considering we lost :P :) haha I'd say the RoadRunners were VERY ecstatic about winning. :P dressed up in all their greeny greenness. :P
oh well.
I left halfway because it was too cold, so I'm guilty of having no pep just as much. :P =D haha I'm sure Empress P will be proud of this =)

On another note, me and Miss Sixx had a blast taking 5 minutes apart from Bio to translate "ABC...easy as 123...so simple as DoReMe, ABC, 123 baby you and me!" hahahaha This is because we are THE BOMB. :)
I'm sure we're gonna end up purple with happiness  by the end of this semester....for sure, Sixx, here.

FOR THE WIN.

"Let's keep our fingers crossed"(in the voice of Steve Martin in The Pink Panther) that I don't die while attempting to drive tomorrow. :D haha...No worries, it'll be in a safe empty parking lot....for the sake of all mankind. :)

Memo: The Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks is SOOOOOOO good. :) I tried it for the first time today!! Haha, yes I put aside my Cafe Americano to try this AMAZING cup of goodness wrapped up in a beverage cup of awesomeness. Definitely recommend it. :)

Memo#2: I should hope NOBODY is going to the Justin Bieber concert tomorrow! Or I will personally hurt you. There is some pretty good music out there and you do not need to be filling your heads with the nonsense of this Bieber kid. :)

Memo#3: I only have one more day, but Ima put aside the Mana Quotes 'cause obviously they weren't that successful, I hardly wrote this week. But, I found this quote that is just SO true.

"War doesn't determine who's right. War determines who's left."

I don't know who said this, but....all I've gotta say is that its VERY true.

Respect.
Jazzy.
